Great Tour @ Chichen Itza / Cenote / Vallodolid!
Thank you to Hugo, Samuel & our steady driver Augustine for providing a wonderful experience. We were well taken care of and felt there was a good amount of time at Chichen Itza & the cenote. The journey was long but bus was comfortable. Facilities were clean & well maintained. Only wish we could have a bit more time at Valladolid (total 1h instead of 30min would be great!). Highly recommend this well run tour to others.

Highly recommend this tour!
We had a great experience on our private tour today, exploring Chichen Itza and the stunning cenote. Our guide, Israel, made the day truly special. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and friendly, which made the tour enjoyable and stress-free. The highlight didn't just stop at the sights, the lunch at Valladolid was delicious! Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore these beautiful locations with a fantastic guide!

Touring Chichen Itza and swimming in Cenote
Swimming in the Cenote and visiting Chichen Itza historical site. We found the tour went 3 hours longer than expected and missed out having our dinner until 11 pm at night. Although we enjoyed the tour guides input we felt the tour was too long from delays waiting for people.

Good and safe trip for family
The service is good. And the tour guide really cares about the safety of everyone. The reason I give a 4 star score not 5 is I had a much better tour 18 years ago. During that trip, the other tour guide provided full 2 hour walk around the chichen itza site and gave very detailed explanation for each ruin/building. Also there was no stopping at some shopping village with that trip.
People Also Ask
Q:Do you need to book Chichen Itza in advance?
A:
No, but buying Chichen Itza tickets in advance can be a good idea to avoid disappointment and save time on the day. This is because tickets often sell out and there tend to be long lines at the ticket desk. Plus, you don't need to worry about bringing cash on the day to cover your admission fee.
Q:How long do I need at Chichen Itza?
A:
Plan to spend half a day at Chichen Itza, or up to four hours. This will give you enough time to explore the main sights, cenotes, and more without feeling rushed.
Q:What is the best day of the week to visit Chichen Itza?
A:
Early morning on a weekday is the best time to visit Chichen Itza because you can avoid the tour bus crowds which tend to arrive mid-morning. Sunday is perhaps the worst day for a non-Mexican resident to visit Chichen Itza, as Mexican residents enjoy free entry on Sundays and the ruins fill up fast.
Q:Can you swim in the cenotes at Chichen Itza?
A:
No. The only cenote which forms part of the Chichen Itza site is known as the Cenote Sagrado and while you can observe it from above, you can't swim in it. There are, however, dozens of nearby cenotes where swimming is permitted.
Q:Can you still climb the pyramid at Chichen Itza?
A:
No, you cannot climb the pyramid at Chichen Itza. Climbing any structures at Chichen Itza is prohibited, including that of the main pyramid which has been off-limits to visitors since 2008.
Q:What do you wear to Chichen Itza?
A:
As Chichen Itza is located in the Yucatán Peninsula, the weather tends to be hot and humid year-round. Wear light layers and shoes that are comfortable for walking, as the site is huge and well worth exploring in its entirety. You may also want to pack sunscreen and plenty of water.
